STEPS TO A SOUTHERN NEVADA POOL   

  Lay out

Your pool will be painted on the ground to show the shape, size and location in your yard for your approval.

Permits

Copies of your approved plans will be submitted to the building department along with our structural plans and necessary reports.

  Excavation

The excavation and hand forming usually takes two days, with an access of 6’ or larger you get free caliche removal, 6 hours with smaller access.

  Plumbing

Your automatic infloor system is plumbed (if applicable) and all equipment is hooked up.  All plumbing lines are put under pressure.  Your pool has an autofill, schedule 40 pipes, and longer lines for better water flow.

  Steel

The basket of steel that is installed to support the shotcrete and give strength to your structure.  This will give your pool strength. 

Electrical Stub

All electrical stubs will be installed, light niches, and wiring to your equipment and bonding will be done at this stage  

Inspection

Your local building department will come out and inspect the work and give the OK to place the shotcrete shell. 

Shotcrete

4500PSI-shotcrete shell is installed; you will now be able to tell what your pool is going to look like 

Tile

A row of waterline tile and all raised area tile is now installed.  You will choose your tile at our showroom from a large selection of ceramic and natural stone tiles.  

Masonry & Rockwork

Any water features will be built at this time.  Pool coping, deck ribbons, and boulders will be installed now.  

Decking

Your deck will be laid out, formed and poured at this stage.  All colors will have been picked out by you at our showroom.  The deck may not be painted right away if your have additional rock work or landscaping.  

Electrical Hook up

Your final electric will now be installed.  If you have a remote system, it will be installed at this time. 

Gates & Clean up

Your gates will be fabricated or coded and the property will be cleaned up and readied for the plaster inspection.  

Pre-Plaster Inspection

Your local building department will again come out to check that the gates are self closing, self latching, all decking and electrical is complete, and your pool is ready for plastering.  

Plaster or Exposed Aggregate (Pebble) Finish

This is the final stage of construction, the plaster will be shot on the shotcrete shell and then your pool will start filling with water.  If you have an exposed aggregate finish the pool will have to be acid washed prior to filling the pool.

Start up & Instruction

Our start up technician will come out and start the equipment after the pool has filled with water.  At this time you will receive the initial chemicals, your start up kit, and your solar blanket.  A time will be scheduled with you to receive instructions on the use of your pool, your owner’s manuals, warranty information, and a general list on how to maintain and enjoy your pool.  

Time for FUN

Jump in and start enjoying your new room addition.  Have a BBQ, relax next to the soothing sounds of your waterfall, get some shade from your new patio cover, swim a few laps for some exercise.  Your oasis is now complete relax, enjoy it, and have some fun.  Let’s go swimming.
